New surfboard art concept by Thomy Dubs

Toe-jam’s been scribbling away and come up with a sick art concept for my new surf board which is currently being hand-crafted by my good friend, Aoshima’s own Masami Ogawa, owner of Blue Island Surfboards. The board looks like an absolute gem, quad 5′10 that’s built a little more racy then it is retro. I’m loving the artwork my bro is thinking off, Thomy will eventually do the art in special marker before the final glassing gets done.
The board is going to include a couple of paintings done by kids Kaz and Sakura as well, I’m so proud of my artistic family members because I can barely draw a stickman.
Let me know what you think!

Top of the board. A little Bluesy.

The Bottom - Thomy got the idea from Bahama's album Prink Strat.

Good morning, Miyazaki. – first taste

I’ve barely had my video camera out since we moved to Miyazaki and I feel slightly guilty. It’s just too hard to film when the surf’s so good, and all you want to do is be in the water yourself.
I’ve only managed to grab a few shaky shots, not really much to write home about, [...]
