I’ve barely had my video camera out since we moved to Miyazaki and I feel slightly guilty. It’s just too hard to film when the surf’s so good, and all you want to do is be in the water yourself.
I’ve only managed to grab a few shaky shots, not really much to write home about, but after a few pops the other night I got the urge to throw something together, even if only to give you all a little taste of where I live these days.
The shots aren’t epic, most of them I screwed up thanks to my almost-dead tripod head not panning so smoothly anymore. But it should give you an idea of what I wake up to on a daily basis. I live within a five minute bike ride from most of these spots, the furthest only a 25 minute drive. Good morning, Miyazaki is the working title for a surf film I’ve got in mind.
Enjoy!
