“When Matt Westcott submitted his application for the Sports Journalism program at Loyalist College, faculty were blown away by the videos he sent us. He’s a master when it comes to shooting sports, especially the slippery ones done on snow and ice. He’s loaded with talent and creativity. Matt’s got something that can’t be taught: passion for shooting live action sports. As they say in the snowboarding world, I was “stoked” to have him as a student. He jumped at the chance to take on every challenge, including anchoring and hosting radio sports and TV shows. Matt was the faculty’s unanimous choice as top graduating student in 2010.”
